We currently require you to use an existing Google account to register with Splix. Support for more OpenID logins is on the way. During registration we will ask for access to your profile and offer you the option to link to your YouTube account. We will only store your ID number and login email address in order to facilitate login. If you choose to link your YouTube account to your Splix account, we will also request the ability to integrate certain YouTube features into your Splix experience such as playlists.
